The story of Cain and Abel is quite an unfortunate one. For it depicts jealousy and despite. And from no countenance, jest arose on Cain. Eventually leading to Abel’s death. The moral of the story is, when you choose your livelily hood. Be with it in joy and peace within your heart and mind. For if your path is lived with discontent, only strife follows. Many Bible stories rotate around self-empowerment and overcoming difficulties. For God is with us all, within all of the days of our lives and on. Find the joy in your tasks and whether it be a job or not.

If you feel no countenance on what you do, choose a path you love, again find the joy today/now.

There arises some confusion at verse 7. Who is Cain’s desire will be to and whom or what will Cain rule over? Will Cain to rule over Abel? These short style of writing is known as short style ambiguous sentencing.

6: And the Holy Father asked Cain, why are you angry and discontent?

7: Cain, if you work diligently whole heartedly. Wouldn’t you have self-approval, attention and joy? If not, you will be inclined live in error of your ways in anguish. Your emotions will get the best of you and your emotions will rule over you and rule over others.

8: Cain spent time with his brother and the many weeks/months/years passed. And eventually Cain lured Abel to his death.

9: And the Holy Father came and searched for Abel but could not find him. Then asked Cain, “Where is your brother?” Cain replied defiantly, “Why ask me? I don’t always follow my brother”

10: Suddenly, to our Holy Father’s realisation, Abel is not with the living no more. And said unto Cain, “Why?”
