Genesis 4 16:20

16: And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod to the east of Eden.

17: And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

18: And unto Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael, and Mehujael begot Methushael, and Methushael begot Lamech.

19: And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

20: And Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents, and of those who have cattle.

Fairly, within these verses explains the historical of Cain’s descendants.
Cain left and settled within a district known then as Nod. Eden again referenced, a term used to describe either paradise, an estate, a country or land in general.
We also added some etymology of the Hebrew definitions behind the names accordingly.

16: Cain migrated to Nod, East of Eden.

17: Cain found a Wife who gave birth to a child called Enoch. They built a city and named it Enoch, after their child. (Meaning: Dedicated, Trained, or Disciplined)

18: *Cain’s family tree is accordingly:
Enoch bore a child called Irad (Meaning: city of witness)
Irad bore a child called Mehujael (Meaning: God’s sword)
Mehujael bore a child called Methushael (Meaning: Man of God)
Methushael bore a child called Lamech (Meaning: Powerful)

19: Lamech choose two wives for himself. Adah (Adornment) and Zillah (Protection from the shadows) 

20: Lamech with Adah bore Jabal (The over comer of hardship: Mountain)
Jabal became extremely wealthy through his influence over those who tend flock and tents.
